Side hustles have completely changed my life. I’ve tried a lot of different ones, but this one that I’m about to share is by far the BEST side hustle for 2018.
Before I share what the best side hustle is, let me first explain exactly what a side hustle is and how it can change your life. A side hustle is a way to make money “on the side.” You may be a stay-at-home mom looking to bring in extra fun money, or you might be a full-time employee trying to ramp up your savings account and pay off your debt faster. With a regular job, you can’t always just ask for more money and get it. That’s where a side hustle comes in. YOU are in total control of your extra income; and, hopefully, it will eventually replace your full-time job!
There are tons of different side hustles (more details on these below!). These include:
- Freelance writing
- Freelance editing
- Taking surveys online
- Petsitting/Housesitting
- Selling unused items on Craigslist
- Opening an Etsy shop
- Blogging
- Online virtual assistant
- Pinterest virtual assistant
- and more!

Now, to share what I believe is the BEST side hustle for 2018:
Facebook Ads Virtual Assistant
Every single business and blog owner needs to advertise their products or services, and running ads on Facebook is a GREAT way to get businesses in front of their target audiences.
But, most business owners do not know the first thing about running ad campaigns on Facebook.
That’s exactly where you come in.
But what if you don’t know the first thing about Facebook ads, either? Well, that’s OK. Most people do not know anything about running successful Facebook ads, and that’s why the service is in such high demand and why it pays so much. If you can specialize in this, you can expect to make $1-2K a month in just a few hours per week. Now, this is with ONE CLIENT! If you had 10 clients, yes – you could expect to bring in $10,000-$24,000 a month!
And eventually, you could turn this into your full-job if that’s what you desired. There is a HUGE need for this service; get in now, and you’re golden.
But, of course you DO need to learn how to run ad campaigns, which types of people to target, how to measure your results, how to land clients, etc.
Introducing the Facebook Side Hustle Course
That’s where the Facebook Side Hustle Course comes in! Now, I am NOT one to promote a course unless I KNOW it will help you. Facebook Ad courses typically run $1,000+, but this one is actually affordable. Yes, it’s an investment in yourself. But, just like if you switched careers, you would need to go back to college. This is the same thing. You are learning a brand new skill, so of course you will have to pay for it. You can’t expect to charge $1,000-$2,000 per client without being an expert in your skill. The Facebook Side Hustle Course will give you the exact skills you need to run successful ad campaigns for businesses and blogs everywhere.
Here are the top three things you can expect to learn from the course:
- Setting up and running Facebook ads for your clients
- Learning how to find clients
- Getting these clients to say yes and choose to do business with you
Registration for the Facebook Side Hustle Course is only a few times per year, and the course is currently OPEN.
Oh, and if you are currently a blogger, you can absolutely use this course as a way to run your own ad campaigns and bring in more traffic. The best way to do this is to run an ad to a page with affiliate links or to get people to sign up for your email list! Remember, you don’t just want traffic that comes and goes, you want your audience to stick around!!

Other Ways to Make Money from Home
As mentioned above, there are many ways to make a living online and from home. However, all of the ways have one thing in common that will make you much more successful, and that is having a blog.
Gone are the days where a blog is a personal journal. Today, blogs serve as much more than that, mainly as your own portfolio and what you represent. I started this blog back in my freelance writing days. I wanted to break into personal finance freelance writing so I used this blog to showcase my work. Within a few months, I had landed several big clients, and eventually got hired on as a personal finance editor for a large corporation.
And little did I know that three years later, I’d be able to quit that job because of my continually increasing income from my blog 🙂
If you are interested in starting your own blog, head over to my tutorial. I’m offering a special discount to my readers, and I’ll send you a copy of my eBook – The Beginner’s Guide to Blogging – for free.
