How to Be a Virtual Assistant

Do you dream of working from home one day but don’t quite know what job you want to do? Perhaps you’ve thought about freelance writing, but just don’t have the desire to write day after day on topics not chosen by you? I’m a freelance writer, and while I personally love it, I can see how writing can get old after awhile (and it does, haha).

How to be a virtual assistant: Read my tutorial to start making a living online as a virtual assistant today!

But what about being a virtual assistant? Instead of writing everyday, you get to help someone with their day-to-day tasks. This could be anything, as a virtual assistant is a really broad job. You might answer emails, schedule out blog posts, add images to posts, go through and do a site audit, run your client’s social media accounts, help your client brainstorm new business ideas, and more. Basically, you would be a small business owner’s assistant – so your duties would be anything that they needed help with.

Being a virtual assistant is a great career choice because it doesn’t require you to do the same tasks day after day. Sure, you might have some monotony, but what job doesn’t? Most likely, your job will vary on a weekly basis.

Gina Horkey is a work-from-home mom of two toddlers. She started her career as a virtual assistant and now wants to help you do the same. I admire her immensely because I also have two toddlers at home with me. If Gina and I can work from home, so can you!! (And, btw, Gina makes about ten times the amount of money as I do!!). Gina created a course to help you become a VA in 30 days (or less!) titled 30 Days or Less to Virtual Assistant Success. (Oh, and BTW, Gina’s last monthly income report was over $12,000.)

Let’s look at some facts:

  • In the last three years, there’s been a 95% increase in demand for VAs. The work is out there, you just need to find it! Gina will show you how with actionable, step-by-step tips!
  • On average, VAs earn $35-$50 an hour!! That might be more than your day job, and there’s no commute!
  • 69% of people are happier freelancing than working in an office. Where do you want to work?

The benefits of working from home:

  • No commute
  • Flexible schedule
  • Getting to spend more time with your kids
  • Unlimited income potential

Whether you’re a SAHM looking to earn extra money on the side or are desperately wanting out of your 9-5 job, becoming a virtual assistant could very well be the answer you are looking for. Gina built her business from scratch in six months while working full-time and being a mom to two toddlers. I’ll pause while you re-read that. Yes, if she can do it, I’m certain you can too!! And while my freelancing income isn’t as high as Gina’s, I also work full-time and have two toddlers at home with me.

If you’ve been wanting to make a change, now is your chance. Gina’s course is just 30 days and it’s all done via email. You have nothing to lose! Follow her steps and you can be the next VA making a five-figure per month income. Whether you’re just wanting some extra money for the holidays or are hoping to start a full-fledged business, let Gina help you withΒ 30 Days or Less to Virtual Assistant Success!

This is awesome Sarah! I actually started out my freelance career in working from home with mostly VA work πŸ™‚ It can be pretty fun depending on what projects you are working on, and there is definitely some income potential there. Gina is clearly killing it, that is amazing that she makes that much per month doing VA work!!

Yup!! I would enjoy being a VA simply because you get to work on different tasks! With freelancing, it’s the same stuff all day every day haha πŸ™‚

That’s definitely a great advice πŸ™‚ I used to do a lot of VA work as well (not so much anymore as my focus is elsewhere right now). It can definitely be rewarding. The key really is to do what you enjoy (for instance if you love social media, don’t look for accounting). Great help πŸ™‚

Totally agree!! You have to find something you enjoy doing and then learn a way to get paid for it πŸ™‚

I’ve been hearing more about VA-ing and have become interested in it. I’d be interested in doing some VA-ing on the weekends or in the evenings and might need to consider looking into her course. Thanks for sharing another very helpful post!

Oh good glad it could help!! Gina is amazing – one of the things I really like about her is she communicates SO well. If you email her a question (whether you’re taking her course or just have a question lol), she responds so fast!
