Hi everyone! I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve posted. For those that remember, I was offered a full-time job last month and I started last week! It’s been quite the ride so far, so I figured I’d share the pros and cons (mostly pros) of being back in “the grind.”
Sorry I’ve been MIA the past week. Last week was a busy one – I actually applied for a full-time office job last Sunday and after a phone interview, an in-person interview meeting with four different people and a writing and editing test, I was offered the job!
To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I’m going to warn you in advance that this post might be rather long and jumbled, but I’ll do my best to organize my thoughts in a way that’s easy to read and understand.
I graduated college in 2007 with a degree in finance. It feels like yesterday that I graduated, but at the same time it feels like ages ago. I’ve had multiple jobs (including a 3-year stint in waitressing) and am finally at a place where I can say I love what I do for a living. I never imagined life would take me to where I am today, but I couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re about to graduate college, I wanted to share a few tips that I wish I knew back when I was new to the workforce.
