I’ve always had a low traffic blog. My pageviews average between 25,000-40,000/month, but I’m able to make a full-time income from my blog. Here is how to make money with a low traffic blog.
3 Ways to Grow Your Email List Now
Bloggers: You NEED an email list. I have been blogging almost three years and am just now realizing the importance of an email list. Here I’m sharing how to grow your email list now.
Did you know that every person on your email list is worth $1-$2 in revenue per month? If you have 2,000 subscribers, that means you can expect to make $2,000-$4,000/month just from your list.
I hovered below 1,000 subscribers for a while. Then, I made a few changes two months ago and am now nearing 2,500 subscribers! My traffic is the exact same, too.
How to Be a Full-time Blogger
Ready to be a full-time blogger?
I quit my job to blog two months ago. Now, I spend my days with my three little girls, working out, blogging, keeping up with the house, and more. It’s amazing. Yes, I miss my coworkers and some other aspects of my job, but nothing beats freedom. Nothing.
I want to teach you how to be a full-time blogger, too.
But first, please note that I do NOT actually spend full-time hours on my blog; instead, I just make a full-time income.
Ready to do the same?!
April Blogging Income Report
Welcome to April’s blogging income report!
April was my highest month yet and I’m so excited to share this report with you all. For those of you who don’t know, I actually quit my job last month to focus more on my blog and, more importantly, to be a stay-at-home mom to my three little girls.
I’ve found that while I don’t necessarily devote more time to the blog, my time is not being wasted. My home is cleaner and more organized, I’ve been cooking more, and every single afternoon I am a hands-on mom to my little ones. It’s a great feeling!!
March Blogging Income Report: My First Month Blogging Full-Time
Welcome to March’s blogging income report! I started my blog in September of 2014 and have shared every single income report since then. You can see them all here!
For the first year, most of my income came from freelance writing. Slowly but surely, though, my blog income started increasing and I was able to drop nearly all of my freelance work. I’m currently earning $2,500+ per month strictly from my blog and don’t see it slowing down any time soon!
Now, this did not happen overnight. I thought about starting a blog and finally about one month later took the plunge. I then worked on one thing every single evening after my kids were in bed. Sometimes I’d spend five minutes on it, sometimes five hours. But every night, I did something.
You can access my free guide to starting a blog here >>
If you’re thinking of starting a blog but aren’t quite sure what your niche would be, I recommend just using your own name as your domain name. With Bluehost, you’ll get your domain name for free! By using your name, YOU are your brand and you can change your blog as you please. You aren’t trapped in a niche because you chose “Sarahscookingblog.com” or something like that 🙂
Now, onto March’s blogging income report.
How to Make Money Blogging: Earn Thousands from Home
Ready to make money blogging? Blogging is the absolute best way to make money from home.
I am a SAHM to three little girls (I recently quit my full-time job to stay at home with them!) and make $2,500+ each month from my blog. I started my blog in September 2014, made my first $100 within five months, and quit my job after a little more than two years of blogging.
Now, I blog about 1-5 hours per week. That’s it. The rest of my time is spent with my daughters and husband.
If you want to change your life and start making money blogging, here is my guaranteed guide to get you where you need to be.
The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit – FLASH SALE!
Ever feel overwhelmed by blogging?
You’re not alone.
There have been so many times in my own blogging journey when I’ve felt daunted by what I was learning and struggled to overcome challenges like increasing my traffic and income in ways that matched my brand and values.
Overall, blogging has been one of those incredible “pinch me” parts of my life, though. I can hardly believe I get to do something I love so much, earn money from home, and be part of such a special community.
For those of you who don’t know, I recently (as in one month ago) quit my job to stay at home with my kids and blog full-time! But, let me tell you a secret: I don’t actually blog “full-time.” It’s more like 5 hours per week, and I average $2,500 per month!
But it isn’t always easy, and the fast-changing nature of the blogosphere means I can’t ever stop learning how to be a better blogger.
I’ve found my blog really thrives when I’m growing in my skills, connecting with others who get the work I’m doing, and pushing myself to try new things and improve my weak areas.
I make a point of prioritizing my growth as a blogger, and one of the best ways I’ve found is by learning from other experienced bloggers who’ve mastered a particular aspect of blogging.
Problem is, it can get pretty pricey to buy all the new books or courses that cover the topics I’m looking for.
Which is why I am over the moon excited about the Genius Blogger’s Toolkit (for sale Monday, April 3rd through Tuesday, April 4th only).
It’s a digital package crammed full of brilliant tools to help you grow your blog, work smarter & make more money.
(But for way less than you’d normally spend!)
The team at Ultimate Bundles has put together the best resources on ALL the topics that matter to bloggers, like mastering social media, monetization, creating and selling products, time management and productivity, nurturing an email list, and so much more.
Here’s what you get:
24 eBooks
33 eCourses & audio files
5 printable packs
In total, the toolkit includes over $3,600 of blogging tips, strategies, tutorials and amazingly practical information and ideas. Plus you get free bonus offers worth $1250+, with 15 tools and services to help you run your blog.
But the truly amazing part? They’re selling it for a crazy 97% off of regular price!
I know, it sounds too good to be true, but I promise it’s not. Ultimate Bundles has been around a long time and creating these packages is really their thing (they’ve sold over 180,000 of them on all sorts of topics), so you can trust this is the real deal.
The most important detail, though, is that this toolkit is available for just two days. After Tuesday night, April 4th, the sale ends and you’d have to buy all of these products individually.
I’d hate for you to miss out, so click here to learn more or buy the bundle.
It’s even backed by a full 30-day money-back happiness guarantee, so you can make sure it’s right for you. Get what you need for your healthy lifestyle.
Day in the Life of a Full Time Blogger and Mama
Two weeks ago, something pretty cool happened. I was able to quit my full-time job to stay at home with my girls and blog full-time (well, as “full-time” as one can with little kids at home!).
I loved my day job, but my three little girls needed more of my attention than I was able to give them. Since we relied on my full-time income, I knew I couldn’t just up and quit.
Thankfully, I started a blog 2 1/2 years ago and that little blog (the one you’re reading now) is now producing a part-time income. With a tighter budget and the part-time income from my blog, I was able to quit my full-time job to stay at home with my daughters.
You can read my latest income report here >>
I was also at a crossroads with my blog. With a job, kids, a husband and a house to maintain, there was only so much time I could dedicate to it. And no, I’m not one to get up at 4am to blog considering my kids still wake up at night and my baby is up multiple times. Girl needs her rest!!
In order to grow my blog and take it to the next level, I knew I needed to devote more time to it. The only way that I could create more time was by eliminating something off my plate. Since I can’t exactly pawn off one of my kids (haha), my job was the only thing that could go.
So, here I am: Full-time mama and full-time blogger, ready and anxious to see where this blog is going to take me.
I thought it’d be fun to show you a day in my life, as those are always my favorite posts to read! Without further adieu, here is a typical day in the life of a full time blogger and mama.
February Blogging Income Report: What to Do When Income Dips
Welcome to this month’s blogging income report, where I share how much money I’m earning online through my blog and freelance writing.
I started blogging 2 1/2 years ago. Back then, all of my income came from freelancing. Now, I’m happy to say that all of my income comes from blogging! It’s taken a while to build up, but it was absolutely worth it now that I have a relatively passive stream of income coming in each month.
And – BIG NEWS – I was able to quit my job to focus more on my blog! I also plan on spending a lot more time with my daughters. But honestly, I was at a crossroads with my blog. Continue doing minimal work each month, or quit my job and see if I can take it to the next level. I decided on the latter, because, you only live once right? Here goes nothing 🙂
5 Ways to Make an Extra $500 a Month
